Saw this one on ebay, listed as "unknown". Just curious who the "experts" think the maker is?

other than 'not a custom' i don't know. i had a J Pechauer which had points like that, only other time I've seen points like that was a Schon.

I wouldn't give over $150, and that only if I really liked it.

I wouldn't pay the asking orice either. But I looked all through the BB and couldn't find anything. Sorta reminded me of a Pechauer...looks 100% CNCed to me. I wonder why people sand off the logos?

the first part answers the second part here...? there's a lot of folks out there who don't know any better, and the cue looks nice to the untrained eye. i just hope no one falls for a big price on it.

identify this cue

1st pic looks like a Schon at that distance.
2nd pic nope not a Schon as the butt cap is not even close.
3rd pic of little help
Guess I am not much help either but in my opinion NOT a Schon

Yeah...I don't know. I'd bet a paycheck those points are a Pechauer, but the butt doesn't look anything like a Pechauer. The butt is more intricate than the forearm. I wonder if someone frankenstiened this cue from more than one? There's always a chance it's a knock-off from the Phillipines.

> My guess is a Karella,a pretty high-end import that stole a LOT of designs from Schon, and I believe were sued for it.

Besides the butt cap,the pilots on the shafts are a dead giveaway. Tommy D.

identify this cue

Leaning to Helmstetter. Check and see if the collar on the shaft has 2 nickle silver rings instead of the usual one

Oh well....someone paid $185 to inspect it in person. I still think it was made in Asia.

If I ant mistaken it is a Varner production cue. I am pretty sure that we had one of them when we purchased them from him.

I could be wrong but I dont think so.

Tommy is dead on. Here is the Karella catalog. Check cue #9.
