Technically it was a Christmas gift for my son, but he's only been playing for less than 6 years before he got one and I've been at it for almost 25, so I should be more excited.

Best part, it was free! The money I was going to spend on a table can now go towards a good mechanic to set it up with new cloth. No need to re-use the old cloth and having to take apart the table myself even. Free! Even came with a box of house cues, a lower end Aramith ball set and a cue rack.

8' Olhousen Gem, was already taken apart, slates crated up. I got lucky and was on Craigslist just at the right time, found it within 27 minutes of the guy posting it and was the first one to call him. Whooot! He got it free from a friend that moved and never set it.

Nice. Now don't go and put wine colored cloth on it.

I heard about this one guy who did that.

I know! The nerve...

Pics or it never happened!

I actually tried to snap a pic while it was in the UHaul truck, camera froze up on the phone LOL.

Cloth color depends on my son but it will either be blue or green, I taught him well. He likes how the blue looks on the Diamonds and this table is a bit modern looking aside from the leather pockets so blue may be the cloth color.

Our table is this model, same color as in the pic.

Very nice!! ...especially for the price. Definitely show us some photographic goodness when you get it set up.

Can't find it... Blinded by the bright spots!

Might I suggest new glasses then too?? :D :D :D

FWIW, I still really do like the wine cloth....but at some point in the distant future, I will do a full resto on the table (refinish woodwork, laminate, etc), and I'll probably put tourney blue cloth on it then....but this is after the darn sexy wine cloth is worn out....

Congratulations on the score!

Thanks was just a good day! Even picking it up went smoothly. Monday was a holiday for some, so the guy was home, I was home and my cousin and uncle were home to help me with picking it up. The guy's town had a UHaul one way rental truck only a few miles from him, just the right size, and it was new and comfy with under 5300 miles on it.

Congratulations! You will have a lot of fun on the table. It should be in pretty good shape. Most home tables that are being sold have little/no playing time on them. However, I play on my home table almost every day. Keep the balls and cloth clean.
