classic beauty, right there.
Hows the hit?
Says the self-admitted whining cheapskate. That is really super nice. Love the points and veneers, and very nice looking inlays. I think a nicely figured BEM forearm would make that cue look so much nicer though.
Wow what a great looking cue at such a great price!! I think I will be calling Schmelke soon to place an order!! Do they offer a low deflection shaft??

They do a very nice job. When I used to make breaker cues, I would use a lot of their straight wood purple heart for the butts and that laminated blank for the breaking shaft.WOW. Very nice cue. And for under $400 ? I hear a LOT of things about Schmelke, but the few things I've never heard is " I paid for my cue and never got it" Or they were unwilling to work with me to get what I wanted. Or even, I got my cue and I hate it![]()
In fact, I've never heard anything but good stuff from this family owned company !!!!
Schmelke at its core is a small cue and parts production company. If they have something ready made, they can piece it tougher and make a nice cue. If it is something they are not 'tooled' up for, then they will not do it. They are not 'Custom Cue' makers. But they do have some flexibility in what they can do.WOW. Very nice cue. that is correct, you can get an ebony and BME (when they have them) but with no veneers. I played with one last year, and it was a solid cue (Just no veneers)I would say this is why I couldn't get that full splice ebony with veneers and BEM. I believe they aren't set up to do them and have someone put them together and they finish them.
