if they are "virtual"cues how do you do that??

I do that with Cinema 4D R13. And take a foto from the wood before.

If you did those renderings i think you should considering providing this service (paid ofcourse) to guys who are thinking about designing their own cues. It's an awesome way to visualise how a cue looks before annoying cuemakers.
