I know this is off topic, but its ultimately to create some art for my home pool room, so I think it still counts. :)

I would like to have some old baseball cards, scanned/enlarged to approx an 8 x 11 size to use as art for my walls.

I realize it would take some level of scanning then photo editing, but would you be able to enlarge a baseball card to the size of a sheet of paper and it still look decent? I am concerned it would look fuzzy etc.

Thanks in advance,
Ian

Picture Help

I do this kind of thing all the time. Can be fuzzy but often not. I take a very still close up picture of the card with my digital camera set on the "close up mode". Review the image on your laptop and print at Walgreens. I have pool pictures from old billiard cards that look cool.

Witha decent scanner, you want have any issues.

In fact you can go into like a Walgreens and scan them in there at thier photo kiosk and they'll print out 8X10s right there. If you don't like them you dont have to keep them (pay).

May also be able to use features in photo shop to fix your images as long as you have a high enough pixel count you can take a 2x4 inch image and make it a poster 1.5ft by 3ft

photography is something I know a bit about, dont ask me many questions about pool or sports but art or music I know a fine bit about
