Chris did you insure the package? If so file a claim with UPS and hopefully you can get your money back that way.

IMO he should not have to send you the money back until after an investigation is done and they(shipping company) proves it was delivered to GRC or his company, and signed for by GRC or the person at the front desk. The company saying they had it signed for by someone at the front desk doesnt mean anything unless they provide a name to go along with the signature. If GRC didnt sign it, doesnt know who signed for it, and doesnt have a cue then IMO It is not his fault, and seems like the delivery guy ****ed up.

I know the feelings Jeff Eason got me for 450.00 and now I can't even find him nor can he be contacted a couple friends saw him trying to peddle his cues locally this past week an his family is telling everyone he is out of town , I looked for him a little Saturday night to try to get my stuff back but did not see him... He will not get very many sales here in town most know the quality of his product.

Hope you get your money back Chris it is ashame when people stoop to this level in these hard times. On the bright side at least we are better people that garner more respect and will never stoop to the lowly level of people like these mentioned in this thread for stealing money and taking advantage of people ... I figured if I got ripped off it would be by some scammer here on AZ not someone that lived in my home town and I refered to as a friend ... Oh well Karma is a powerful tool...
He's on Jimbo's forum now. Even trying to sell over there.

i think its the economy- people less likely to be honest when they are busted. Ive made a few small loans in the last couple of months and absolutely no one is paying me back. Thankfully i dont loan more than i can afford to lose (Keep that under your hat!).

sorry man, but the world doesnt work how you think it does.

if you did insure the package then you need to file a claim. YESTERDAY.

if you did not insure it, and grc says it is not his signature, then you can either A.) eat the 500 for being silly and not insuring it, B.) turn the matter over to police/small claims court and that will get you nowhere fast, so see A.)

I've lost so many packages in the mail it is ridiculous....ups quotes their loss rate at 1 percent. they ship 1,000,000+ packages a day. that is 10,000 lost items PER DAY. Acceptable rate of loss....most are tracked/found (they even go all the way down to driver level and ask them, WHAT door did you knock on -- because packages do get sent to appartment 3B instead of 3D and the like....ups will also go after people if a driver can positively identify where they mistakenly dropped a package off (ie, signature forging, theft!)....

BTW: in a case where you file claim and they have a signature on file, they will talk to the *correct* recipient (grc) for a statement, and he will have to sign an affadavidt that he did not receive it.....once that is done, you get your check....if you didnt insure....o well, lesson learned....it will be the last time i bet! (we've all been there)

check this out, lol:

Well he is going to have to try his cues somewhere I guess ... It seems he is finished here wherever I see him trying to sell his cues on the net I'm going to post links to the threads here on AZ and make sure to warn people about Eason and how he has ripped people off here and stolen from them and how his cue fall apart and twist up due to wet wood and cheap materials ...

Why did you send the stick before being paid on ebay you dont ship till cash is in hand well good luck next time get paid first.

You need to read the whole thread. lol

He bought the cue and returned it. Cue always comes back before money returned.

No word from anyone on what happened in the end?

OK Guy now i spoke to UPS and they said that since they have a signature that he received it they did a investigation and said that we delivered the package as requested and cant do anything els
now I'm out $500 and a Cue and Jimmy wont even return My emails ether
This is getting way to frustrating for me when you have some one that is not even returning your emails
I asked Jimmy 4 times now for a police report which he said he has done
and still nothing from him

I want this resolved what do i need to do ????????????????????

look you are entitled to a police report as it was a stolen cue. that should be provided. sounds like you are both out something and it is up to the two of you to decide what each pays. thats fair. it doesnt sound like anyone ripped off the other so dont get mad.
also each of you can get a tax deduction for the loss amount if that is any consolation.
he mentioned a split of 250. think about that. good luck sh--t happens sometimes.
