There would still be a problem getting to the 4 although any look at the ball is a threat.

Not really a THREAT....it would still of been a very difficult shot, with cue ball frozen, then to control both balls, with cue ball rolling 19 feet and the other rolling 4-5'.
It would of then put the 3 ball in by the 7-8 which would of created blockers for his teams incoming player to utilize.

I was half musing there. I meant running out from the 3 had the bank missed. Had to be a fast table to run the ball back for the 4 - the pink one.

The threat part was serious. Any look with that many balls on the table coulda kept Shaw playing catchup.
