Great pool rooms in Seoul?

Hi! Can anyone help me? I have a few days there and I want a good place to play. It would be nice if they had well kept equipment and some good players in the house.
 
I am moving there in October and started a thread on the same thing about 6 months ago. Do a search for my name in the advanced search and you should find the thread.
 
Thanks, but it didn't have anything specific. I'm only there a couple days so looking for a solid room to go to.
 
Korea isn't like the states. They have LOTS of pool rooms and Koreans love to gamble. I was there about a year ago & it seemed like there were pool rooms every block. Granted, a lot of them are 3-cushion rooms. But walk in to any room & ask for a room popular for pocket billiards & they'll point you in the right direction. I'd assume there's a good room or two near the military bases (camp Humphreys), so that might be a place to start. That district has great shopping & awesome food, lots of bars & some nice hotels, so if you get tired of pool there's plenty other stuff to do.

Sadly 2 say, the game of pocket billiards never really took off like taiwan or china.
The koreans are still stuck on the funky 4 ball billiards on the small 8' tables.

Hopefully some room owner near your hotel will find U a good spot to play.
