Greensboro N.C Bound 9/15

welcome to the area........i dont live in greensboro but I go there quite often. Theres a couple of decent rooms there......cue and spirits, bg mcghees, shooters, breakers, coliseum billiards (plenty of gamblig action but a rough crowd). Also cue and spirits in winston salem has alot of gambling action as well........and timeout and the greenroom in kernersville. good luck
 
Hey, welcome to the area. Let me know if you feel like shooting a game sometime. I'm always looking for a fun game.

I typically shoot out of breakers though I find myself everywhere now and then.
 
hey ryeth i have a breakers membership. Maybe we can meet up sometime to play.......how old are you and what level do you play at. Do you gamble much?
 
Hey Joe, Welcome to southern heaven!! I am in Chapel Hill and play in Raleigh at The Brass Tap on Capitol Blvd. They have lots of tourney's and it is one of the best places to play. Johnny Archer's father in law owns it and runs some great events.The Carolina Open is this week thru the weekend in Goldsboro, another great pool event.
Get in touch when you get settled and I'll meet you in G boro some time. PS Watch out for the interchange at I40 & I85 its known as Death Valley for a reason!!!

Sent you a PM :) I'm always up for a game. I honestly don't gamble much... don't have a lot to lose :D But I never mind playing for beers or some really cheap games.
 
I'm in GSO, NC as well. Don't go out to Breakers much, but can be found at Cue -n- Spirits, or B.G. McGee's from time to time.
 
I lived in Greensboro in the 80's. Does Eddie Garris still own the colliseum? I'm in Raleigh & anyone out there who might like to do some tradin, give me a shout @ 919 247 3391

Also i would really like to talk to you about cues as i see your posts on the wanted/forsale forum and i am getting started trying to put together a collection.(2 bluegrass, a gilbert, and a sly sneaky so far) i also noticed that you replied to the posts about a month ago about florida action and im pretty good friends with the guys that you were talking to from north carolina that were hunting action. jason gardner (jayburger) 336 315 8552 or 704 418 0080 cell

moving in Saturday am and visiting with my daughter's family and grandaughter... gonna try and go to shooters on Sunday and check it out... looking to get into some sort of league as well if you have any info

Do you have any pictures of your cues? I love cues myself.... too bad they are so expensive :p I currently shoot with a bluegrass myself. I keep hearing good things about the gilberts and almost bought one before my bluegrass (Still haven't hit with any except for a jump/break though). However that didn't work out. No regrets though since I've even bought a second bluegrass :)
