*** Guess the Correct Shot and Win... ***

Bob; Maybe the answer to this shot is a little too simple in its concept for you.

There's NO scientific, illuminating reveal here, just good old common sense and a little imagination! :banghead:

Shoot the red with draw and a touch of left. White goes up to the short rail, comes back by hitting the long rail and just before the yellow hits the short rail again....

Hi John; Good try, but, NOT the CORRECT answer!

John, Give me a call, my # is on my website, (contact me) button.

Thin the red on the right with high English (1 o'clock). Yellow goes off the long rail then into the natural to score after 4 or 5 cushions.

I have to admit though, I like 12squared's solution. The cross table could work here.

I've never played 3 cushion, and I'm not even sure on the rules at all, but I'll give it a shot.

Hit the yellow with high left into the left side of the white. The cue ball hits the short rail on the left of the diagram, long rail at the top of the diagram, back to the same short rail on the left, then the opposite long rail on the bottom, and then finally contacts the red.

Muddawg; Do they even have 3 Cushion tables in Mississippi?

SORRY Dawg, INCORRECT!

I'm not much of a 3-cushion player but I'll give it a try. Thinone o'clock english to the red then the short cushion near the corner, then long cushion, short cushion, across the table to another short cushion, and then long cushion near the white ball and a hit.

No time to check all earlier posts; did anybody guess this one: two cushions first, yellow into the short rail it is close to, then long rail, halfball into the red, develop lots of english and come off the left long rail close to the white.

Billy,

Rail first behind the white with left english, coming off the backside of the white, yellow goes three (or five) rails around for the point into the red?

That's my best guess and I'm sure I've seen you shoot that before :)

Kevin.

I'm pretty sure that shot is not possible as diagrammed.

Hi Bob,

I looked at the diagram again, I'm curious why you don't think it's possible.

Load up with left, rail first to long rail behind the white, clip quarter ball of back side of white, seems would start a natural path around the table. No?
