The wood has super has super fiery colors. It is pretty wicked.

So I was spraying some finish on a cue and the left over of the clear went to the wood...

That is the most amazing, beautiful piece of wood for a pool cue I've seen.
Look at the natural dark brown color.......Wow!

Tony is it walnut burl? I bet I'm way off I'm not up on all the woods. All I know is that it's one mean looking young cue. This wood is going to make a beautiful cue.:thumbup:

All wrong. It's a very rare type of burl called paela and it came from South America.

That wood is a treasure, it's too pretty to put points and inlays in it. Maybe accent it with some fancy trim rings.......just a thought.
