The "Man" worked his magic on my table last week. New facings, new 860, leveled to perfection using what looked like 253 different machinists levels, and zero speed bumps in the slate seams. He worked non-stop for 10 hours because he will not settle for anything less than perfection. My table now plays like a completely different table. I was considering replacing the table because I've always been dissatisfied with how it played regardless of who I paid to work on it in the past. The table had been re-covered one year ago and I finally said the heck with it. It's time to bring in RKC! Here is a picture of one of my new side pocket that is "the triple nuts"! Thanks RKC...hey---who ate my slice of cheesecake---dammit RKC!

What cheesecake?:grin-devilish:

You ever thought about making a swing through Europe. I know I can find you enough work here in Austria alone to make it worth your time and I'm sure you could probably spend a year in Germany making the rounds. I'm also sure the rest of Europe can find something for you to occupy your time with!

That is outstanding attention to detail. I recovered my table and I put a strip at the base of the slate also, but mine didn't look that good. That is quality and from the way you describe the leveling process this has to be as good as it gets.

Did the "Olhausen corner pocket rejects" go away?

Hey Glen,
Thanks to your new facings the long straight in down the rails shots no longer rattle and stay up if hit any harder than pocket speed. The shots that should drop---drop and the shots that shouldn't drop do not drop.

I forgot to mention that RKC also eliminated the sharp ridges on the slate that eventually cuts the cloth where the ball drops in the corner pockets. After seeing numerous photos of RKC's other installs here on AZB, I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with anything less.

This is one of those rare times where my expectations were met and even exceeded.

If Diamond completes its possible sale of 235 ProAm 9fts to Italy, I may go to Europe for a few months next year sometime, to show the Italians how to assemble, recover, level, and install the tables. I might even hang around for a few months:D

We must talk! I have an Olhausen that rejects balls from my corner pockets. It's ridiculous. It makes it impossible to play 14.1 because my runs can't go very long without a rejected shot. Sometimes I get a ball that spits out to the side pocket.

When are you coming to Houston? I have a 9' table that needs your expertise.

I don't know, maybe on my way back east to the Factory, but I have some other stops I have to make along the way, some in CA, OR, AZ, NM, CO, MS...and who knows were else....LOL
