Guido has been chosen as the cue repair person for the IPT. Anyone had work done by him? Any comments on him or his work?

Guido has been around for ever. All the work he has done for me has been top notch with just 1 or 2 exceptions over the past 10 or 12 years. And those he remedied as soon as I brought them to his attention. I think you will be pleased with that decision. He is honest and straight forward ( ohh and a tad bit opinionated) But I suppose you expect that from a 66yr old Italian. :)

Detail oriented.Does a very good job.In the late 80s he played in the Mens Pro Billiards tour.Living in upper Peninsula of Michigan.

He's awesome.

Guido Has done work for me several times @ the Reno Open. He does an excellent job. If you need your cue in a hurry he can work fairly fast.

Not only is he as good as they come, he's better than the rest, IMO.

It was a sad day when Guido moved out of Cali, but I will always have my tips replaced (or any other shaft work) whenever I see him at a tourny - even if someone else just did it!

I remember Guido made a break cue out of a bunch of 9 balls (or cue balls) for the handle. Somewhere I have an article with an interview with him. I'll try to dig it out.

Excellent quality. He put on a new butt on my Joss 1985 cue and it was like new. Also put on a few new tips. It was at the DCC 2004

Easily, the finest cue mechanic I've ever seen... and the only one, other than Ernie, that I've let work on my custom Gina.

Great choice, he has done some work on my cues and never has that work been anything but perfect.
