Yang broke and pocketed 2 balls. Decides to play a two-way shot and it fell safe. Dennis kicks safe and got Yang snookered. Yang played shorty and makes it! Yang makes a tough ball on a blind pocket but scratched. dennis cleans up the table and it's now 2-1 Dennis and breaking next...
 
It's back on serve as Dennis missed a billiard on the 8 while shooting the 5 ball. The 8 ball rattled
and Yang swept the remaining balls. It's all squared at 2 games apiece with Yang breaking next...
 
Dennis broke and pocketed the 1 and the 3 ball but has no shot at the 2 ball. Dennis played a weak safety, Yang called for his 2nd extension and returned the favor by playing another weak safety. Dennis nailed a long and tough shot on the 2 and is on shape for the next ball. He should be out from here.

Dennis' out and it's all tied up again at 3 games all, Yang's breaking next...
 
7TH RACK YANG-ORCULLO:

Yang pocketed 2 balls off his break but has no shot at the 2 ball. He opted for the push out and
left a tough straight in jump shot on the 2 ball. Dennis passed up and Yang made another incredible
jump shot! He should be out from here...

Yang's out and leads 4-3 with Dennis breaking next...
 
RACK 8

A tough break and run out for Dennis as he had to navigate through a tricky set
up after his soft break. It's all tied at 4 games apiece with Yang breaking next...
 
9TH RACK:

Yang broke and made the 4 ball with the 1 ball hanging near the jaws of the left foot
rail pocket. He left himself a testy shot on the 6 ball but should he make it, he'll be out.

He makes it and he's out! It's 5-4 Yang with Dennis breaking next...
 
10TH RACK:

Another successful soft break for Dennis as he pocketed the 1 and 4 ball but the 8 ball
spoiled the party for Dennis as it stopped and covered the 2 ball's only available pocket.
Dennis played safe, Yang called his last extension. Yang left Dennis a full ball but it fell
safe, Dennis played safe but couldn't get the job done. Yang makes a tough and thin
slice on the 2 ball! Another tough thin slice on the 3 is in the offing for Yang. Yang missed
and sold out the 3! Dennis should be out from here...

Dennis is out and the match is all tied at 5 games apiece with Yang breaking next...
 
13TH RACK:

I have to go take my smoking break and missed the 11th and the 12th rack but Yang is
2 games clear now and breaking. Yang broke dry for the first time! Yang left an open table
and Dennis makes the 1 ball but misses badly on the 2! Yang makes a tough 2 but ran to
the 7 ball and got himself snookered! Yang played safe, Dennis played safe but left Yang a
full ball. Yang played safe and has the 3 ball covered by the 5 ball. Dennis made a difficult
kick shot and made a legal hit and left Yang the full ball again but with no pocket available.
Yang played another wicked safety on Dennis. Dennis kicks again and fouled...

Yang should be out from here with BIH and a game away from the finals...

Yang's out and he's on the hill with Dennis, who's 3 games behind but breaking next...
 
14TH RACK:

Dennis breaks and makes the 1 and 8 ball. No shot on the 2 ball though. Dennis is on desparate
straits and tried to play the 9 off another ball and he misses. Yang has an open table and it
looks like an All-Taiwanese final from here. Yang made quick work off the table and is out...

It will Yang Ching-Shun vs. Wu Chia-Ching in the finals!

"Every dog has his day" You couldn't be more wrong with a comment like that.

Taiwan absouitely dominated the Guinness 9 Ball tour for the last 2 years they won 10 out of the 12 legs, Chang Jung Lin won 6 legs and Yang Ching Shun won 4 legs Chang won last years Grand Final and Yang won today the Grand Final, on the other hand Alex Pagulayan won one leg and Dennis Orcullo won one leg. Taiwan with Chang and Yang won 9 consecutive legs and that the facts. It is time to give credits to the winners and not to the losers.
