GUS SZAMBOTI 4 sale..

Just Right.

The Gus has everything. Checked ring in the butt and the exact veneer colors I am collecting. Too bad I'm cue poor! Wanna trade 40 cues for this one? Someday, I will own one like this.

I'd better get more cues listed.

Super nice cue. Really strange that someone has not made a move on it. Bumping you up to the front.

this is a great playing cue with 2 beautiful shafts. i was the second owner of this cue, but sold it to a friend who has passed, so i sold the cue for his widow.

i really like the leather wrap, although the original linen was very nice too.

anyone buying this cue will be buying a grest playing that is classic gus at a super price.

good luck with your sale ken

I am very interested but I really wish it had a linen wrap. I wouldn't be using it but rather putting on display as a piece of art for my household. I really preferred a Balabushka as the history of him and his influence in the cue world is very intriguing. I however see a very similar beautiful workmanship in this cue as I see in George's.

When you sell a cue like this does it come with documentation authenticating it from Barry for instance? How does the wrap change the value? How are the values in Szamboti and Bushka's differ?

I am newer to pool, but as I have looked into Bushka's cues going up in value, and being an amazing thing to own I'd rather have this then money in my bank account. Something to enjoy owning, looking at, showing good friends, and talking about/sharing with others. Also how it holds its value is amazing. I'd be so tempted to just shoot with it a few times but I'd have to hold back ;)

Hello,
This cue has all the original finish from Gus. Just the wrap was changed.
The leather wrap was picked out and put on by Barry Szamboti. Which will not hurt this cue's value at all. Having the wrap changed by anyone else not named Szamboti will have an effect.
Barry doesn't write LOA for any of Gus' cues. Barry is very familiar with this cue, all it would take is a phone call to Barry to get all the authentication you need over the phone..
I absolutely feel Szamboti's have held there value better then Balabushka's, and are a better investment.

Do you have the reciept and paperwork showing that Barry did the recent work on the cue?

I have better... His telephone #.. All you have to do is ask him.. He knows the cue.. mention my name..
Barry doesn't usually write me receipts:)
