With depreciation , probably 2-250 but if you have one I'll give yu 275 cause I'm a nice guy.

Gus was a low key guy that just liked to hang out with the players and sweat the matches. He never bragged about his cues, or talked bad about any other cue maker. If you didn't know him, you wouldn't even know he was a popular cue maker.
The players had to come to him to get a cue made. He never approached anyone. I wish that announcer could have pronounced his name right. Gus was too nice a guy to even correct him.

Yup , sucks I know. You should see the Bushka butt I gots for a shift knob on my tractor. Didn't have the heart to just toss it out after I got my new Meucci for Xmas .
i have a Gus that was supozidly owned by Miz, i'm not so sure about that, but its not important, i love it it is a real nice cue, playes awesome and is a bar bell cue, the only barbell Gus I have, Gus was WAY ahead of his time, his cues still hit'em as good or better than any cue maker today, most Szams have alot of miles on them for that reason, Barry's cues play as good in most cases as his dads, better in some cases. I have only one Gus thats a dud compaired to the rest of them,. he left a legacy and its great that Barry is carring it on.
I have a friend in LA who said it best..."How can all these new cue makers account for the fact their cues as a rule dont play as good as Gus's cues?" Old wood is my answere, I have hit balls with a Showman(Rodneys cue) thats right up there and a Sugartree as well. I'm sure that there are other cue makers who's cues are up there nowdays but I personally dont have the experince with all the different cues to say for sure. I have one Bushka that is the best hitting cue ever-the other Buskas play about like the Gus cues more less.
