My friend is putting his Gus Szamboti cue up for sale with great reluctance. He paid $8750 for this cue two years ago. It has a maple forearm with four ebony points (prongs made by Mr. Szamboti - not a blank) outlined in black, gold, brown and maple veneers. The description says the cue has one shaft but we had a second shaft made for it by Paul Mottey (GS shafts go for around $800). It weighs 19.5 ounces, and rolls straight. Owned by a famous player from the Midwest. Cue was refinished by Bryan Mordt of BCM Cues in 2006 and is in perfect condition New wrap, rubber bumper, and ivory ferrule added. Authenticated by Barry Szamboti.

No trades on this one please. Please PM me if you have interest.

What a simple but beautiful cue. Nostalgia is written all over it. :)

Good luck with the sale................

Authentication from Barry is shown here. Not sure what you mean by "inserts". Only inlays are the two acrylic rings in the butt. No pictures of the two shafts available yet, but I have seen and can confirm both are as described. Thanks for the note.

Which one?
