Gus Szamboti 4 point cue with 4 maple windows on the butt. In one of the windows is an inlaid "G.S." The cue comes with one original and 2, two inch longer shafts, all made by Gus. The cue was refinished and the 2 longer shafts were made by Gus just before I bought it in the mid/late 80s. The green/white speckled linen wrap was left original and not replaced when Gus refinished the cue.

The Fellini style case is one of three that we had custom made by a North Carolina leather guy around the same time. We bought the case blanks from Ann Gore.

Both the cue and case are in excellent condition, and have been very well cared for.

The price for the cue and case is $10,000.

Please PM me if interested (or know someone who might be), and I'll be happy to email additional pics, etc. of whatever you'd like to see.

Thanks!

o man kenny murrell is looking for a cue just like this......

Very nice cue & case set.
Somebody is going to get a real piece of cue history
at a good price on this one.
Good luck with your sale.

what is the weight of the cue and the ferrule mm size on the three shafts? The longer shafts are 30"?

Agreed. But the sellers new to AZ he must not realize that his main buyers are AZ'rs .

I do realize that, but it's been here for a month with no interest at the asking price. I don't think it would make any sense to make the opening bid the same as my original asking price, since many interested buyers would be AZ members.

I hope I didn't offend anyone's sensibilities.

Its almost impossible to post on AZ without offending someone.

The "discount" knock isn't completely accurate as it looks like you have an auction with a starting bid. Heck, I start mine at $9.99, quite often after offering the cue to the AZ community for a few days at a way higher price.

Your cue. Your price. Your business. Plus the thing about your buyers all being AZ members may not necessarily be true. The last 2 Bushkas I sold on eBay went to non-AZ members.

I assume you would be willing to send the cue to Barry for verification and use him as escrow?

Thanks

Kevin

I agree with Kevin. Its amazing how many people think its their job to tell people how to sell THIER goods.

People should not shit on other peoples FS threads. If you don't like the price, move on.
