I read that Gus made about 1100 cues. Anybody have a guess how many there are now?

I am guessing around 2000....

In my mind is how many REAL Gus cues are still on American soil.

I read years ago that Lucky owned over 400 out of the 1100 or so.

Gotta think with his bankroll that he's still buying at full speed. Tommy D.

I forgot about the time a few years ago that Asian buyers were buying up tons of Balabushkas and Szamboti.

As I understand it, lots of cuemakers were sending as much as possible there because they were selling them for twice what you could get them here. I had heard that Joey Gold was selling tons and that is why for a short period of time they were tough to get. If you could sell a cue for $4000 there, verses selling one for $2000 here....why not?
