PLEASE LET IT GO ! Stay on the high road with constructive opinions about Leon's craftsmanship. Remember one thing, as much as a person's intentions are good, sometimes their actions can be detrimental to the person they are trying to help.
No one attacked Sly. Repeat, NO ONE ATTACKED SLY. You have turned this thread into a damn flame war with your animosity and eagerness to be Sly's defender. Let it go before you do any further damage to Sly's image on this site. You are the equivalent of Eddie Wheat, and your actions and posting risk doing as much damage to Sly as Eddie's postings and ramblings did to his own image and reputation.
Why don't you try letting Sly's work speak for itself instead of jamming your views about his work down peoples' throats? I have read quite a few positive things on here about Sly's work and all of it was based on someone's rational response to the quality of his work. That is the best way for word of his work and quality to get around, not some hot head.
I agree. BUT !Koop said:Yep, I wondered what this had to do with anything as well. Cringe is an understatement.
The King, you're probably a decent enough guy but I can tell you from someone who has ZERO stake in this matter, you are hurting your friend more than helping him here.
As I read it, ScottR asked a simple question and even gave a possible explanation. Since then this thread has skidded out of control and trust me, you are not helping your friend.
Regards,
Koop

Well stated. rep. to you from Bob C.mrinsatiable said:Sly cues will have Sly customers and Searing cues will have Searing customers. Everyone likes their cue makers cues for certain reasons. They will both create products that provide a particular kind of performance for each of their customers. Amen.
We're all very lucky that these guys are able to do so. 30 years ago there were only a handful of quality cue makers to choose from.
