I watched this last night before it was pulled. That was a great match and I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for posting it!

Soooooooooooooooo Jay was that foul called on Buddy when he was shooting just across the edge of the 5 ball a legit call? I was unable to tell for sure when I watched it.

I think he hit it. It looked like it was barely grazed. Tough to tell. Buddy seemed to know he hit it and looked hot.

Not only do i think he hit it, but i think he was pissed that he did not hit it a little more fully as to put the cue behind the nine.

Like he said in the interview, Bob would have most likely have been out anyway.

Thanks for clarifying it guys. I am using a small monitor so sometimes it is hard to make out a close hit like that.

It looks like he hits the 5 ball. You can tell by the number on the ball. It rolls slightly after he hits the 5 ball.

No way could I make that call based on the video. The ball could have shimmied ever so slightly. I just couldn't tell for sure. Lou was an excellent ref! You would have to be right on top of the shot to call it properly.

P.S. I once called a foul on Buddy where the cue ball was frozen to the one, after the break shot. He tried to come off the edge of the one and play safe. Except he did the same thing and missed hitting the one altogether. He just tried to make too thin a hit on it. I called the foul and Buddy gave me a hard stare. He knew what he did and was more embarrassed than anything. He never said a word to me. Just went and sat down.
