I'm watching this match, and the one thing I can't get past is how slow the table is. It looks to me like they're playing in a sandbox. It's safe to say that I've grown up on fast cloth and tight pockets. After watching this match, I now known why so many people have the desire for an uber-powerful stroke, and why a lot of people want to be able to smash the break at howitzer speed. I've been vocal about it on here before, but I know that I can find great results on modern equipment by breaking at a moderate speed focusing on control. I get compliments on my break, and I don't try to smash the bejesus out of racks. I never understood the correlation between the power of ones break and the quality of their break. Now I can see where the basis for that train of thought comes from.
