Not at all, and you still want to look at the shot as square as possible. The "master eyes' was not discussed with anyone when I was on the road - I've found that if my head is square, it won't matter. Omaha John was really square and I incorporated his style slightly.

Gene (Perfect Aim) knows a lot more about the master eye than I do. The more you twist your head counter-clock-wise, the more you better understand your own head positioning. Just like looking at anything, the more you turn your head from square, the harder it is to see it naturally, and painlessly.

Check out the older players that have turned their necks severely all their lives. They almost certainly have back or neck problems. I can play for many hours straight and my neck rarely hurts, and neither does my back. although in older age there is more aches.
