Like I said... making me laugh... I just met you recently, Joey. I know it was dark in there, but it was definitely light enough for you to see I'm a bit older than 30.... roflmbo
I turned 49, so I'm working on constructing my 50th year on this Earth. I'm planning to celebrate all year long. No alcohol or drugs. Just a lot of fun and smiles. This is the last year I can say I've been here for less than half a century.
So, if you think I sometimes get a little off-the-wall now, look out for the rest of the year!!

Next special holiday is this Monday. That's our 24th wedding anniversary. One more year until I get silver and gold all at once - silver anniversary (25th) and golden age (50). :thumbup:

...I'll try to check back in before I go play pool. If not, I"ll check back in and let you know how I did in the tournament.
What a great night! My first 8 ball match, we played pretty hard. I made him work for any wins he got!! (tournament was race to 5/3) Right at the end of the game that would put us hill-hill, he won. I was told it was a 2 hour match. We really gave each other a heck of a challenge!
For the second match (loser's side), we got up to hill-hill and in the game that would make someone a winner, he had only 2 balls left, when I won! Another hair-puller match! ;-)
The next match was against Gene. One of us would be out after that match. I don't recall winning one game against him! So, he went forward and I was out. By the end of the tournament, Gene had to play the guy that I played for 2 hours. Gene was ahead, but it was getting VERY late. He finally took 2nd place, which also means his entry is paid, next week. Cool!
While we were there, the younger player on our team (Josh) came in for a while. At midnight, when my birthday was over, I texted him and called him from across the pool hall to wish him a happy birthday. His birthday is today. (Aug. 7th) :thumbup: He's a whopping 20 years old, now! Some of you guys have seen Josh in our team pics in the Rackem, Stroke or The Break magazines, or in some of our live streams. He's like one of our own boys, as we've known him since he was maybe 13. So, today, it's his day. He may be at the tournament on the live stream, tonight.
Well, I didn't win the tournament, but since Gene took 2nd, we got some of our money back and had a great time. I got my Subway sandwich and got to play in the tournament. Not much could be more fun than that for a birthday!
