HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Landshark77!

Ok really you wanna know? Aside form the typical money and clothes; I got the pool cue I have been sweatin' since Valley Forge. :D Very plain 5 pointer... Ebony front with Maple points that were re-milled with Cocobola (I think). The butt is Cocobola (again, I think) only...no inlays. Sleeved Ivory flat-faced joint with a radial pin. Brown leather wrap (it matches the Cocobola brown sooo perfect) ...made to look like Lizard skin....oh, it is a tight cue. Never have I been in love with a cue like I am this one.

So who made it? :D

I'm not sure what you mean by points that are re-milled with cocobola, though. Maybe veneers?
No no no...it looks like a thick veener...but it is re-milled points. Lemme see if I can explain this right...the Maple points were spliced into the Ebony...at this stage the cue looks like an over sized Ebony front with Maple points...then you splice the Cocobola on top of the Maple...I think they discussed this in the Ask the Cuemakers forum...you may want to do a search there on re-milled points. I know how it is done..I just suck at explaining it.

Oh and Christy and Drivermaker.......

I expect this kinda thing from Drivermaker, but you, Christy, get a bonus...  :D

You have all of these nickname things going on for Sarah...maybe we should have a poll on what everyone thinks would be a good name for YOUR first born, whether boy or girl.

Without the poll, are you at least considering naming the little hellion after me? :D

But...feel free to take me on Murray. :p

I don't know about her, but I think there are a hell of a lot of guys on here that would volunteer their services. BTW...first class starts next week. :p

Hi Marissa,

I have to say that the jury was out on you for a while. The more you post, though, the more I think I'm gonna enjoy your presence here. Like me, you get a little out there sometimes, but hey.....wouldn't the world be a dull place without a little controversy now and then.

I'm sure I'll see you at a tournament or two around the Atlanta area.

Mike

I think we should have a couple vBookie events on the sex of the baby and the day she gives birth, and a couple polls to decide the name.

Whaddaya mean you enjoy my presence? Are you saying I amuse you? Like a clown? I make you laugh? I mean, I'm here to f***in' amuse you? Just kidding - I just like to have fun with life. It'd be a terribly dull existance otherwise.

I don't know L/S. There are too many hot boys in Atlanta for me to compete with. On the pool table or in the baby making competitions.

Oh, and Marissa. are you that Asian stripper that Tim Wilson talks about on the radio all the time???????????????

With all the attention you showed me upon my arrival, I have my heart set on stalking you... by the way, what's your address again? It's, uh, for your birthday present.... yeah...

BTW, would this match involve jello and can I referee?

Marissa......

What's good for the goose.... I'll check with Drivemaker. If he and I jello wrestle, then you and LandShark will have to wrestle the same as us. Or maybe we could do a tag team, me & DM against you and L/S.

Or, ala Valley Forge, we could play a set of pool and winner has choice of what type liquid is in the ring, and who actually does the wrestling.

That type of point is typically called a re-cut point.
