Scott teaches to have your cue tip @ 1/4" from the cue ball when at the "set position", placed exactly where you want to contact it. I was @ 3/4" away.

From your facial expression, it looks like you wished you were in the "sat" position, with your tuckus placed exactly where you want to contact a chair.
