Happy Birthday Scott Lee

Happy Birthday to you, Scott! You taught me more in our first lesson than I'd learned in 20 years. Enjoy your day!

Happy B-Day Scott, Hope your Travels are Profitable and Safe

See u back in the Largo area. Look me up when u get back. Want to talk to you about a couple of Pool Business Ideas.

Enjoy your Day,

Respectfully

To a guy I have talked with a few times but have never had the pleasure to meet.

Happy Birthday Scott!

Hmm... look at that. Scott jumped the 9-ball by shooting low / scooping the cue ball! I call foul!

I wondered about that set up. I believe that both of them were a few Martinis under at that point.

I mean, Scott is shooting the nine and Matt just looks dizzy.

The table and cue are holding Scott up. Scott is explaining, "See Matt, this is how you lose at 9 Ball when yer drinking Martinis".

Ace Dunkey, Just say, Happy Birthday and PM the rest.

Actually... this is perhaps the best strategy to use if you are trying to win against Scott at 9 ball... get him so smashed that he doesn't know a 9 ball from a cue ball. But play him straight up and you have your game cut out for you.

It actually looks to me like Matt is sleeping standing up and Scott may have won the battle of how long can Scott, Matt and PinkLady go without sleep... after an all night martini binge. And since the lovely Pinky (it appears) is still able to frame and shoot a photo with her cellphone... it's now down to the two of them and Matt is out of the competition. Anyone want to bet a nickle on who won that contest?

All joking aside,
Scott... Happy Birthday to you buddy. (Sorry I missed the post yesterday).
I hope it was all good and I know that you did it with a cue in your hand.
Best wishes and always good luck in your travels.

Terry Smartypants, I am so gonna have to beat your azz next I see you (or at least buy you a jarred Molson Ale ;))

What Scott is showing me on this shot is to use a striped ball which is placed with the stripe horizontal. That way, after the shot, you can see exactly where you hit the ball by looking at the chalk mark.

Scott teaches to have your cue tip @ 1/4" from the cue ball when at the "set position", placed exactly where you want to contact it. I was @ 3/4" away.

Thanks Pat, and all the well-wishers. I did have a great birthday, and it was spent with a cue in my hand. I had the privilege of working with a good player in the Dover DE area. If you really want to have fun on your birthday (or any other day), do something you really love...and I really LOVE teaching! LOL
