I would like to wish all our members who are Mothers a very happy Mothers day. I would also like to say a special thank you those members who are serving our Country as members of our Nations Military, I know first hand how difficult it can be to separated from those you love during the Holidays.

It was one strange mother's day on this end.

Yesterday, I left my phone on top of the car and drove off.......it fell off and someone found it 3 miles away 5 hours later and left it at a downtown restaurant. I got it back with a few scuffs on it, but it works. I tried to give a reward, but no one knew who dropped it off. :confused:

Then my glasses somehow broke in half in my pocket (I was wearing sunglasses) and of course, those frames are not rectangular like the 99,000 pair they sell exclusively anymore, so I'm in big doo doo there. They put the lenses in an old frame I kept (it's falling apart, literally), no charge, so I donated some bucks to help give glasses to some country in Africa.

Today my daughter's car broke down and we had to have it towed to a shop. Hooray for AAA, free tow, that paid for the year's membership.

So yeah, I have a lot to be thankful for: I'm happy and healthy and I'm able to enjoy pool any time I want. Life is Good.:thumbup2:

At least in the Central Time Zone. My mom was eating at some Chinese Buffet in Tampa Bay when I called her this morning. I was forced to spend the day walking the dogs and playing 9 ball.

I won, I beat my wife and ruined her mothers day. HA ha.:grin::grin:
