I just wanted to wish everybody a Happy New Year. It's been a tough year for most of us, and I'm glad we made it through. There is a wonderful support system in place on AZ, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

I suspect that 2009 will not be a much better year for pool or the economy in general. So let's enjoy it the best we can and support the game whenever possible. Go to a tournament, support your local room, buy a cue, take a player to dinner!

I would like to add my "Happy New Year" wishes to everyone also.

Even with the economy in shambles, I expect to have one of my best years ever in 09. Things have been going surprizingly well for the past few years since my family and I moved to Houston, and we are expecting some exceptional things to happen for us in the coming months.

I only hope that everyone will make improvements in their professional and personal lives in the coming year and realize a higher level of happiness and success.

Happy New Year, Jay and everyone else! It's sure been a tough year for us but we've seen some real miracles too, that we might not have seen if it weren't for the hard times. Let's hope this year is better for us all.
