I dont g out of my way to insult anybody, but I do invoke humor. In the thread on "squirt and throw" the other day I thought it was funny that Bob Jewett said "pretty dirty balls"... I was just cracking on Bob so I posted a picture of Beavis and Butthead. It was silly and not mean spirited. A few hours later when i come back here I have 4 PM's from people yelling at me for trying to hijack the thread. Whatever. Find the humor in things. Lighten up. Npt everything has to be so serious or mundane. I'm an accountant, I get my fill of dullness at work. Everybody just needs relax and chill out.

Nobody else claimed you contributed anything either. How can every single one of the people saying that DM contributes to the forum, be wrong? Sure, he likes to liven the place up a little and call people on what they say, but is there anything wrong with that? Do you live in a society free of controversy? DM was knowledgable about pool, as was teacherman and even Fast you-know-who, but they all had a bit of an attitude and when they start f***ing with the guy who OWNS this site, I can't blame him for banning them.

This site would be better if they all were still contributing without the flame war junk, but that's not the way things seems to work out around here.

Until people have to pay to view this site, this is Mikes' world and he can do whatever the hell he wants. I'll take the "ask the cuemaker" section and Jams' tourney update posts over all the other forums combined.

I have no desire to read any of your old posts...or future for that matter...The line regarding your vast knowledge was obviously sarcasm on my part... actually that whole paragraph was sarcasm...perhaps you did not catch that...I really don't have any idea what pool related knowledge you have...I have seen nothing but flame attempts from you.

I already know exactly what DM contributed to this board.......The only reason you do not know what he HAS contributed is that you are to busy and blinded trolling for a flame war....
 
DM and I had a falling out but I still am sorry to see that he got banned. I think that one of the reasons he did get banned was because he was so intolerant of other posters. No poster on this forum is going to be free of the occasional hiccup post. We all say things once in a while that we'd like to delete or say differently the next day. I think we should all give people a little slack especially on one post. When someone continues to post problematic posts, then and only then, maybe there is reason for concern. DM usually didn't wait for even a second post to erupt on someone. And if he already had someone in his crosshairs like Shorty or Marissa or probably me after our run-in, then his attacks were usually swift and viscious. What's that old saying? "You live by the sword, you die by the sword."

As for Shorty, I think he was wrong for intruding on Hal's attempt at selling a cue. If he wasn't interested in buying the cue, then he should have kept quiet.
