Thank you, wishing all the AZers and families Happy Holidays! If you remove Bonus Ball, we have a lot to be thankful for...including US Open 9-ball players got paid

Happy thanksgiving all...I am definitely thankful for having a house and family...granted we won't currently have heat since Tuesday, but we at least have the house and each other until our furnace gets fixed for the 20th time!

I hope you have plenty of firewood. :)

That happened to us one year. We actually lost power in our area. My Sammy Boy dog was old and sick, and he suffered. We ended up renting a 2-bedroom suite at the Marriott Residence Inn. As soon as we got there, unpacked, and settled in, the power came back on. :o

We ended up replacing our furnace and AC unit a year ago. Because the furnace was old, our mechanic said the AC should be replaced because they use a different coolant in newer HVAC systems today. The cost couldn't have come at a worst time for me, but I must say that since that time, my AC and heating bills are less than half now, and so that is a good thing.

Stay warm. Wishing you and yours a very HAPPY FIRST THANKSGIVING as a married couple! :lovies:

We moved from the DC area in 2011 Jeanie. I hope you and Keith are having a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Do you like it better than DC area? We're thinking about moving, but I have to retire first. It's a big step. I was thinking North Carolina for a long while, but I have recently had second thoughts North Carolina.

Florida looks good tax-wise. California, however, is where my brother is, and I wouldn't mind being near him. Keith would love to move back to California. He hates this cold we get on the East Coast. :p

Hope you are happy in your new home! :)
