Hard times sacramento

The Chuck Markulis Memorial Tournament starts Thursday and players should start rolling in today.

They will have mini tournaments tonight and be open 24 hours during the tournament. One Pocket ($2,000 added) starts tomorrow and 9 ball ($4,000 added) starts Friday.

64 player max in the one pocket and 160 max in the 9 ball. Both tournaments will be close to filling up unless the big storm that hit last night turns some away. It has stopped raining for now and is supposed to resume tonight.

Several notable players always show up and there is always a large contingent from Los Angeles where the Markulis Family had several pool rooms before moving up to the Sacramento area. Parica and Santos usually make it and Alex P. and Rodney M. are also supposed to be here. Ernesto and Oscar Dominguez are already here. They just covered the tables.

There will be free streaming and I will make sure the info gets posted on here.

Action tonight and tournament starts tomorrow. Should be a great week. I have a couple S/S checks ratholed for this one.

I'm gonna try to make it down on Saturday to spectate. Sadly it's the only day I can make it.
 
I don't think any brackets are available but their Facebook/Twitter (@HardTimes_Sac) has been updating with tournament matches and results.

Saw the Rocket and someone named Pirone in some 1p action last night. $100 a game even up.

Can you explain what you mean by this "flyby" statement?

Are you suggesting that a man that has paid into ss their entire working life does not have the right to spend it however he pleases?

One pocket finals are at 2 pm Saturday and will be streamed. Info is on the streaming section of forums.

Santos won the hot seat. Rafael and Amar Kang are playing now and the winner plays Parica to see who plays Santos a race to four tomorrow for first place.

but I am stuck at UCD Med Center for a few days
getting Chemo infusions.

Are you trying to be an ass? Why is it any of your business where or how anyone spends THEIR money? If you don't pay into Social Security, you don't get it. It is NOT an entitlement except that if you paid in, you are ENTITLED to get it back. I'm on disability. You got a problem how I spend my money?

Santos v Parica in the finals tomorrow, it should be streamed but not sure of the time. Should be a good one.
