hard to defend against this (tony chohan)

way back players played a lot like that. at least the good ones. all of those shots he shoots were old time shots. although he hits them as good or better than anyone else ever did.

what happened as the old time one pocket players left the earth the new breed of top players all come from the nine ball circuit. so for them pool is all shooting balls in the hole.

if you ever watched taylor, beenie, allen, ed kelly, in their prime you would have seen that type of play and shots.

Thanks for the link. I watched it and ..you guys need to watch more 1 pocket if you think that was anything out of the ordinary.

Oscar should have played the 2 to make it and rolled ahead for the combo. Or he could have safely kick banked the 5.

Maha , you are kidding yourself, old school 1 pkt. wasn't played like this by anyone other then RA.

i was there. lesser players played very tight as they couldn't run balls. and still should. we are talking about different classes of skill level.

in all the games, the "way" you play depends on your skill level. and who you are playing, and mentality of course.

most players even very good ones play basically the same way against all players, which is not correct.
they believe in the fallacy that you play the table and not your opponent. just the opposite.
