is django "buster" mounty using cte or similar pivot aiming in this video?

in another thread someone posted a video but people disagreed on whether he pivoted to center or was applying spin for the shot in question.

what is he doing if not pivot/cte in this clip? lining up some fractional ball stuff? he is practice stroking to the edge of the CB then pivoting to center right before he fires.

Best I can recall he has said in the past that he practice stroked to the side to be able to see to align balls better. Don't know that this is the truth but there are several reasons for changing up only on the last stroke as he does. Back when knowledge was hard to come by some wily players only stroked center ball until applying spin on their final stroke when hitting the cue ball. It made it much harder to be sure what spin they actually used for a shot. Buste always stroking low left might be for similar reasons.
