has anyone ever used ProPocokets?

HI
I came across these and thought they might be an alternative to those spring loaded pocket reducers
has anyone used them that could comment on them?
We had them at our club for a while, but an idiot ripped them off and threw them away before I could test them extensively. I'm not sure if the ones we had were the exact same brand, but they did look exactly the same as the ones in the link. They do what they're supposed to do as far as I can tell. Any kind of pocket reducer or even shimming will not be as good as a rail extension. Obviously the "extended" rail when using pocket reducers does not bank right at the point of the rail where the rail rubber ends and the pocket reducers begin. The pocket may also act incorrectly if the angle is incorrect for the size or the material is different. In plain English, the pocket may reject good shots because the material doesn't accurately replicate an extended rail and the factory pocket geometry might not work for the smaller pocket size.

The spring loaded "practise pro" reducers is in a whole different league when it comes to difficulty. They are absolutely brutal compared to the ones you linked, but they are also "unrealistic". The ones you linked are closer to a triple shimmed table in experience, though obviously not quite as good. A proper extended rail with an adjusted pocket angle (not shimmed) will blow all the other ones out of the water when it comes to playing experience.

In short, if you're thinking about "shimming" your pockets, I'd recommend trying these first. They'll give you some approximation of the experience, and you will get some idea of how the pocket angle will work with shims but these probably won't last forever. You can take them off if you don't like them, and even try different thicknesses. However, if you have the money and care only about raw playability, definitely rail extensions done well is the only way to go.

Look a little hinky to me, but I’ve never used them. Why not just get new rails?
$1000+ vs $60? Removable? Portable?

Like most accessories to reduce pocket size, thell be great for shots that approach from the center and pretty awful for shots down the rails.

Imagine a ball striking this facing...which way ya think it is going?

So these are for when you go play in bars where the pockets are gully buckets? That makes sense. I can’t see how this would be a good option for a home table.

I bought these and after a few minutes, threw them out. Maybe I applied them incorrectly but not sure how that can happen. They kept popping off at random times.

Why does the facing have a taper at the front?
That isn't reducing pocket size much.
