Shane is currently playing in the Bigfoort 10b Challenge vs Phil Burford and I have never seen him make this many uncharacteristic misses in a match.

Burford isn't doing much better and, in fact, he should be winning.

There has been speculation as to why but I'll leave that to the experts to speculate on.

Currently Shane 6 - 5

Strange to see.

They just showed the errors for each player through 11 games:

Shane: 16
Burford: 12

Jay Helfert and Geoff Conway both just said the same thing, that they have never seen Shane miss this many shots in a match ever.

currently 6-6

Shane missed alot shot on the ten footer playing Brain G. as well..
I think Shane just needs to play more on the ten foots under different
temps..he'll get'em down for sure..

Been a tough watch indeed... I was really looking forward to today.... Only night free to sweat pool....

Both players playing below .800 is just unheard of... Even on the big table...

Both started very strong too, just don't get it... smh

if anyone on this forum can play the level of these guys when they are playing "bad" then they will be very very very happy.

Great runout from Shane in the last game to take it down 11-9.

Shane showed the heart of a champion on the last out.
It was in doubt till he made the 6-ball.
When you can win on a bad day, you're a good player.

Shane takes it down 11-9.... Poorly played set on both sides, but both seemed to finish strong in the end... Svb saved his best out for last... His high inside, 4 rail position stroke shot to fall shortside on the 4 ball was amazing... Made the last tough layout look like a cosmo....

Boyes vs SVB Finals comin up after break....

Cutting that 5 up in the corner was no cakewalk either. I hope both guys play well in the finals. I first saw Boyes play at HardTimes in an IPT qualifier and have been impressed with his game ever since.

No doubt Shane will need to take that last game momentum into the final vs Boyes.

should be fun.

that accu-stats stream is c-l-e-a-r.

That 10' TV table is way, way too fast. The lights must be super hot and the rails play like the old "boink" Diamond rails. Like playing on ice or glass. Not the best table to have semi and finals on in a major tournament. Johnnyt

I agree. Burford also came with it the game before draw-spinning the cue ball back for shape and then cutting in a thin nine like butter.

But a little too late.

Interesting to see Shane struggling on the ten foot table - that extra distance does make a difference. Should be a good match coming up.

Congrats to Phil - third against this field is also a great accomplishment.
