I noticed they had filler change out his now discontinued crown cue butt to some new monstrosity. on the butt sleeve speckles of turqouise, surrounding that effy cat.

When pred came to the market their cues looked great. the 2k4:

among other gems. classic pool cue designs with bold variations.

They have made zero good looking cues since they went into their sport, blak, ikon type cues with metal buttcaps and fugly designs.

I'm known for being almost wedded to my 20 YO pre cat cue. but if they made a cue like the ones above i would buy one in a jiffy..
 
I've got an older Predator SP that I enjoy shooting with and a BK2 I use for breaking in my advanced age i find I like a more modest looking cue but that's just me .

However if Predator decided to Spencer me I'd shoot with literally any cue I received just in case they read this ha ha !

Yeah the Predator Sneaky Pete looked great
 
Love me new Aspire 1-2 with a revo, IMHO one of the cleanest looking cues they have ever made... Nothing loud about the cat logo either, maybe the smallest cat logo I've seen on a predator lol.
 
On a related note.. I have been looking at 3 cushion Billiards cues for a while and all the new offerings look like crap.

I know everybody wants to do something new, but lets please proceed with visual pleasure.

Have you checked out the Sang Lee cues from Predator CRM? I was told they're the first butterfly veneer cues from Predator. Each model was limited to 75.

Out of my price range but yeah, those look way better than the busy CNC stuff the big names are putting out.

i had to check, yea looks good compared to the steel capped, logo all over the sleeve stuff. are they compatible with the predator extensions?

As far as I know Fillers last cue was also a Panthera special edition. His actual cue is just the latest Panthera line.

The answer is yes, Buttttt The " Butt" I received was not threaded deep enough so I had to take the extension bumper to the grinder, the threads are about 1/8 inch shallow. I contacted Predator about the issue, I have no idea if they looked into the issue, but the predator dealer I purchased the cue from I know did.

I'll be trying that when I get home today, I kid you not.

I literally just sold to a friend at charity price the euro taper billiard cue I had. 5 years I didn't use that damn cue, now I take a loss on it and two days later find out I might want it back!?

Crazy world. Wtf?
