Have you ever Googled yourself?

I googled myself not too long ago, and wasn't surprised at what came up. I share the same name as a professional football player. He played tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs until he got traded this year. He wears #88. Any guesses on who it is?

Needless to say I stopped looking for any of my information once I passed the 4th page of his stuff!!

So far I have found out that I'm a lawyer, a chef, and something to do with lasers. Lasers are good...Pew Pew.

Tony Gonzalez is a bad man.

I wouldn't recommend Googling me, my name is popular. Too many people would think I am a weirdo!

There is a technical term for this -- it's called "Egosurfing"

Someone told me they Googled me and I was interested to find what was up there and I actually found an old newspaper article from 1994!

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/archives/1994/9404100013.asp

I remember those days vaguely, lol. The actual article had a cool picture of my reflection from the pocket, but it isn't with this article.

Tell us what comes up when you Google yourself + billiards. This ought to be interesting!

Folks:

Actually, this practice is quite old; back in the days when Digital Equipment's (DEC's) "Alta Vista" search engine was the "best thing since sliced bread." Back then, it'd been given a name -- coined appropriately enough, "Egosurfing":

Hmm... what's old, is now what's new. :)

One news letter found.

I typed my self into google and all I could come up with is this one article on me during my tour to Afghanistan in 2008. I will never forget it nor will I forget my comrades that did not come home.

Here is the link that I found, you need to scroll down to the bottom as it is the last article.
