Have you ever had this day?
I am shooting the best pool of my life. I always play 14.1 on these days. I like the solid time at the table. Thing is, I am playing on a really poor table and about once every few racks I would forget about the funny rolls and get hooked or miss a long hanger. Still even though my high run was only in the 60's I felt like I played the best I have ever played.

The table was so hard to judge. To run three racks was like running 6 on normal playing tables. The cue ball could and often did roll off a foot in nine feet and thats what made it so much fun. A new factor to the game was refreshing to say the least. I had to play the easiest patterns or I could scratch or lose shape real quick. It forced me to try my hardest, focus and think through every shot. Do yourself a favor, one day when you are playing your best pool go find the worst table in your area and rack up some 14.1 it might just humble you.

We speak very casually about 100 ball runs etc. , and recently there was a thread about calling a ball on the opening break, which nobody who was anyone would ever do in an important game of 14.1 . Congratulations on your 60 ball runs, and kudos to you if you can do it under less than ideal circumstances. I had to get in the ZONE the ONLY time I ran over 60 balls, and I feel that it's a hell of an accomplishment. You must be a great player. Keep it up. I rarely run more than a rack now it seems. My hat's off to ya'...Tom

A 60 ball run is tight. I know lots of guys who were close that I thought were excellent shooters.
