Have you tried a new Viking?

I like some of the new Viking cues, but haven't found any feedback on how they hit. If you've tried one, how did you like it?

Great question. I have three old ones, one 70's, one 80's, one 90's, but have no idea how the news ones are.

Bought a new V101BK last November. Good solid cue and a solid hit, for under $200. Absolutely no complaints. 20 oz with a Tiger Everest tip.

iv'e tried one that was a few years old. the taper is really long and tends to buckle a lot if you have to hit anything with some pace. i don't like 'em

I am not dazzled by my F82 but it may not qualify as a "new Viking model".
