i have drawn up a cue to be built. which quality cuemakers do not have a crazy waiting time and will hold value? im, guessing my cue will cost between 3 and 4000.

Well since your in Chitown I would call Joe Gold and leave him a message. If you have not already met him he's a great guy and real character. His cues are sweet and hold there value as well as anyone's do. Plus he ain't getting any younger , you here that Joe????
