Having my table re-done

I needed to move my table so i could put a rug under it and also have the bumpers redone. I didn't want just anyone to do the work. I wanted the table to be perfect this time . The last couple of times i had it recovered and moved the work was just okay.
So i asked around and found Jeremy Brooks. He really knows what he is doing and is practically remaking the table for me. It is a 40 plus year old table and probably wasn't machined perfectly correct even when new. By this time tomorrow the table should be finished and i know just by talking and watching him that he takes pride in what he does.
Its a pleasure to see someone who takes pride in their craft.
My table has been down long enough and i am getting withdrawal. Can't wait until tomorrow.

Table is now finished. Probably playing better then when it was new.
I just hit only a few balls and already can tell how much better it is. Rails are all lined up straight and cloth is tighter then ever.
I am starting to sound like a commercial but i am just thrilled to have the table playing so well.
So far he is the best mechanic i have used in S.E. Florida:smile:.

I also need to give a shout out to Wes who recommended Jeremy to me. Wes is on the West coast of Florida.

If i'm measuring right it is 50 by 100 tops of rails.Corners are 41/4 sides are 41/2
Sound right to you?
The table was starting to bow so he had to fix that problem and also drill another hole in the slate becaus it was never there to begin with.
Here are some pics. he reused the cloth. The pics show a few things that are not visible to the naked eye, such as threads and where the original mechanic didn't leave enough cloth to wrap under the table.

Maybe recheck your pockets. Those 2 balls together are 4 1/2"
50x100 is correct for a 9' table.

You are correct i was measuring from inside the pocket instead of from the outside.
All i know now is that the rails line up perfectly straight and all pockets are exactly the same size.I knew the table was off before i had it fixed but i didnt realize it needed extensive work to get it perfect.
