Heads up

I don't think the AZ community should pick up the slack to cover someone unwilling to do as they promised. Its a noble gesture and one I would love to accept but I honestly wouldn't feel comfortable taking any one's money. I would always feel like I "owe" people for their generosity and helping me out, when in fact its Aaron's responsibility to make amends.
Not sure if that came across how I intended.:o I guess what I am saying is it would feel like I'm taking a "handout" of sorts.

The way I look at is community effort you owe no individual anything. We can do many things as a community. No names on check just $$$signs. If that were my cue I'd probly would of run it through old the Table saw long before now.We can do many things as a community whether it be it be Christmas for the underprivileged-sickness-flowersor ect'ect. I truly think the response would be overwheming an this would be put behind us.

If you think you owe me something I'll buy the First round of Budweiser at DCC you can buy the second

Yes, but Pin (mind if I call you 'Pin'? :)), everyone needs to drop it, including Sore, including Mr. Wilson, including ME. IMO Dave needs to distance himself from both these guys - why in the world he would send a cue to Pain for refinishing in the midst of this fiasco is way beyond me. I don't question Pain's ability to refinish a cue well (if he feels like it, and given it's the forum moderator sending it to him....well, DUHHHH) - it's his BUSINESS ETHICS that are a major red flag. So what else is there to say? Write it off and move on! Purdman had a great suggestion.

I am going to go hit some small round objects with my new Scruggs Sneaky and watch the Cards move on to the World Series! :p

Cards Moving on?????????????

Like Kenny the Jet Smith says they could be movig on to the old fishin hole. Cards Gone Fishin???????????

And poeple feel I should abide by their wishes and shun someone for their reason....Add to that they feel I shouldn't have opinion, but tell someone to knock it off and it is censorship.

Pay for a cue to be refinished...and I'm somehow "bought".

None of this is ironic it seems.

Maybe Mr. Wilson you need to read your own rules again.
I don't think he is obscene or vulgar and it seems he hasn't been lying.
Yet you somehow want to censor his content, which to me is bad enough, but to make it worse you have pretty much just showed us all you can be bought.

Jim <---Disappointed

TOTALLY AGREE

I'd like to add, how many of you people pointing fingers did a single thing to help anyone out?

I gave Aaron an opportunity to get back on track and maybe right some things in people's eyes.

Somehow, these acts are seen as less the genuine and people would like to continue kicking someone who fell rather than help them up.

In my eyes, that doesn't make me less a Man.

Other's might consider their own motivations here.

I like this - a repeat of the '68 Series! If it's half as good, it will be a great one.

Aaron Painter ( Pain_pool ) took an awful beating not too long ago.

Aaron, you did a fine job with my cue!

I'd let you do another.

Thank you!

Dave

Dave,

I believe, had you placed this in the sticky thread and removed the first sentence, this would have been a non-issue.
