For inexpensive forward balance purposes, I just wanted to know what standard joint pin type weighed the most: uni loc, 5/16x14, 5/16x18, 3/8x10, or radial

the weights would include the same material (stainless steel) and ALSO the corresponding insert into the shaft (I believe the 3/8 and radial do not have inserts?)

For the price, brass or a for something a little harder, manganese bronze,
Harder yet Aluminum Bronze.
For weight and strength, cost being no limit, an alloy of Platinum and Rhodium and Iridium. A lot harder and more durable than gold alloys.
But for cheap , just brass.

Brass radial pins are pretty heavy.
You can drill deeper, and put some 3/8-16 set screws behind the pin too.

Or powdered steel/tungsten.

You could also get 5/16X14 and 18 thread along with 3/8X10, 1 foot long from Ct. Cue parts and cut to length. If you had a 6 inch tap you could go up to 7 1/4 inches if needed.
