Hello from Aurburn WA

Hope to see ya There!!!!!

Welcome TKama!!!! My name is Andrea. I am also from the PNW. (Gig Harbor) I run the Friday Tourney at Malarkeys (aka City Lights)
Hope to see ya there. (See ya on friday Cindy :))
FYI, I just started a Sat. Night ring game too. Start time 7:30. Let me know if you would like to play sometime.

Welcome to the forums! I, too, live in WA...up in the Skagit Valley near Mt Vernon...closer to Sedro Woolley, actually.

We normally have a tourney running on Sundays (Alger/8Ball)(Woolley/9Ball), Monday (Woolley/8Ball), Wednesdays (Woolley/9Ball), Fridays (Oak Harbor/8Ball), Saturdays (Oak Harbor/8Ball). There used to be a long running tourney on Saturdays in Woolley, but as of last week, that Tourney is now defunct...but not due to lack of interest! I am currently attempting to rally support to move to another location.

You ever get up into the area, give me a yell...if I'm not working or at league, I can play some. :)

Hello Azer’s

I’m coming in from the cold, no more lurking for me. My name is Tony Kamadulski and I am a poolaholic. It all started back in south St. Louis when I was 12 (51 now days) and the Salvation Army community center put in a few tables. My friends and I only had to negotiate a train trestle over the River Des Pares. The trestle is maybe 300 feet long and 50 feet high and the type where you could look straight down between the ties to the river below. We were all petrified. We looked up the track as far as an engine that sat idling. We waited and waited until we were all convinced the train wasn’t coming. To afraid to cross walking we all got down in a crouched position while holding onto a rail and began our way across. Once we hit the mid point our confidence rose a bit and a couple of us got up to walk the rest of the way. Just then the engine ahead of us blows his whistle. Well three of us scurried to pool side and two went home to change their shorts (for real). The train never moved. The three of us crossed that trestle many times after that before something new caught our attention. I managed to eventually get a table in 2003 (AE Schmidt 9ft. Cardinal).
I want to thank all of the posters for the help and pure entertainment I find here. Concepts like SPF, CTE, keep head straight, pre-shot routine have dramatically improved my game. I’ve played leagues and tourneys and just love to shoot. Not much of a gambler but don’t mind cheap sets now and then. I live in Auburn, WA. Which is between Tacoma and Seattle.
That’s pretty much it for now. I do have a movie I recently made to share (its NPR) that I think will show you the kind of person I am in the 3 minutes it runs. It was inspired from my most recent lay off. I hope you enjoy

Hi and welcome! I saw a big long paragraph there and thought you were going to talk about pool, but I'm thinking it was mostly something about a train:) Don't forget to throw a couple of Enter's in every now and then!

My old stomping grounds was up there in the Seattle area too, so welcome!

Hi Milo, yes I will be there Friday. Looking forward to playing again

Thanks CaliRed,
Typing is hard especially the way my hands quiver after coffee.

Thanks RideWithTheWind
I don't get that way to often, but when I do let's play

Mostly around on the eastside at local bars. Make my way to seattle on occasion to play on the snooker table at Julians and also try to go down to Dave's in Kenmore to play on the diamond tables.
I found a snooker table at the zoo tavern. Dave's is great, only been there twice. I can meet you sometime at any of these places.

Welcome Tony! I think you're not unlike the majority of us who post here...what I complimentarily call "pool kooks". We LOVE pool. We play it, watch it, read about it, dream about it...and here we talk about it! Glad some of the things you've read here, have helped to play better!
