i went on mike gulyassy"s website and i see that earl is no longer listed as a pro only just 2 are there dennis hatch and mike himself

In the political scheme of pool, he has never picked sides or even joined any of the the pool organizational flavors du jour. 
He's a wild stallion that nobody's been able to tame, except a filly named Elizabeth. Earl Strickland has always ended up an independent.
It has its advantages and disadvantages. In one regard, he is the captain of his own ship; in another regard, he receives no stipends or funds from others to play pool. It's a double-edged sword.
