Hello,
I am new. I have the pool bug bad! I would like to post some pictures and get some help on different pool scenarios. Probably the wrong word but anyway I hope you know what I mean. What is the best way to post these pictures? Thanks!

welcome aboard...use an image hosting site and put the direct image link between these tags

You need to upload the pics to a website like imageshack.com, etc. Then copy the "Direct" web link (url). In your post click the "picture" icon (yellowish with a mountain and sun). That will bring up a dialog box where you paste the link. When you're done you can check it by clicking on Review Post.

BTW, pool is a great activity when you can't go crappie fishing. We ate crappie dinners at least twice a week this summer...and that was a slow season.

Welcome to the forum!

What kind of cue do you use? Have you considered using a Valley?

You should change your tip, too. :grin-devilish:

I did not realize that the photo was so poor.I can't even tell what balls they are. I will do better next time. How do you get position on the ball next to the short rail after cutting the ball in the corner pocket?

It depends. Are they the last two balls on the table? If so, I'd recommend cutting the 8 with a little inside and taking the cut on the 7. Any other questions?

Thanks, I have to head to town for a meeting. I will stop by and give it a try tonight. I thought I tried just about everything but I may have missed top left English.

Welcome at try to go to all of the spots on site. I mostly spend my time in the for sale section and the gallery.

Other sites that are good are

Jimbo Army
onepocket.org

Just find the one or two that you like best.

You need a medium-soft, smooth stroke with lots of high left to get to where you want.
You could also try hitting firm with right spin just below center to go around three rails to get on the other side of the next ball.
