Helmstetter S-2 VIP model cue....Thoughts ??

Hi gang,
Just bought a nice Helmstetter cue..Model S-2 "VIP" signed "R C Helmstetter"..Any info on quality, where and when manufactured is appreciated!!

80's cue. Made in Japan by ADAM. Good basic cues.

Wondering if you can reveal the JOINT DIMENSIONS on this and also if good replacement MODERN shafts are available to fit ??..All help is appreciated!!

Helmsetter cues were a level above the basic Adam cues.
Pretty good for a mass produced production cue.

I’ve had a couple throughout the years and they really are a decent cue.

just measure the O.D. of the joint. Pretty sure that's a 5/16x18 pin. just count the threads in one inch of pin. could be 5/16x14 also. they used both.
