HELP i have blue hands POOL related

A blue hand has saved me more than once.

In my married days, I would go out and "run the hogs" (for you non Texans is means chasing the ladies).

On the way home, I would stop by the poolroom, find the dirtiest table in the place and rub my hand vigorously back and forth across the cloth. Then, I would take a piece of chalk and finish the job by marking between my fingers. Hence, blue hand.

When I got home, right through the door, my wife would scream, "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?"

I'd say I was out having sex with my new girlfriend!

Next, She'd scream, "LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS!!!"

I'd show her and she's scream, "DON'T LIE TO ME , YOU S.O.B.! YOU'VE BEEN OUT PLAYING POOL AGAIN, HAVEN'T YOU?"

I've had tables get wet for other reasons, def not going that way on purpose.

Just that way I do it...

I vaccum first, getting as much loose chalk right off the bat so as to not brush anymore 'into' the cloth.

Then.... I brush and break loose as much as I can.

Then.... Vaccum again slowly and deliberately to pull as much back thru the cloth as possible.

I repeat this until the vaccum filter comes out clean after a pass on the table. I use a smallish shop vac that has a fine mesh (allergy I think) cloth filter over the foam one. You can easily pull it off and blow it out with air and then start over. Doesn't take long.

I'll second the X-1, does a really nice job and is easy to use. I do have to say that I have the advantage of new cloth.

Use a better vacuum. Some just make noise and don't really do anything.

The other is don't chalk you cue over the table, and don't cup your hand under the tip when applying the chalk.

Another is use a different color. Seriously if you use a different color that doesn't blend in with the cloth you can see it better and you can tell if it was removed or just rubbed into the cloth. Plus you will know if it is from the chalk or something else.

ive had the simonis x-1 for about a week now
it seems to be working
ie it takes longer for my hand to get blue and its not as dark
its easy to use
its worth the money to me
