Help!!! I NEED A NICK NAME

M&M Sounds great.

M&Ms "They melt in your mouth not in your hands" nothing dirty intended, but the shoe fits. From 16 time world champ and first time user, with initials like MM, Candy Girl. Point M&M at the table and Candy Girl will get the money (candy). Later, Jimmy Reid

I have to agree with my good friend Mr. Jimmy Reid. He should know about getting the 'CANDY' as he was voted best money player in the last 25 years by his pro playing peers. M&M is a great handle for you Melissa that would be remembered forever. And what an honor to be given that name by one of the best players to ever hold a cue in his skilled hands.

I dig M&M, especially if it's something that has stuck in your circles, those tend to be the best.

As for the pirate nick name post way back in the beginning... apparently, I'm Mad Sam Bonney! ARRRR!!!

"Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!"

Yea...

i dont want a jump cue. i have plenty, but ill call u MiMi from now on ok?. Just Mimi.

Nicknames are usually given to a player by others they regualarly compete against. They are often based upon non-playing characteristics (size, weight, dress, habits etc.) and are not often flattering. Remember, Jim Rempe's original nickname was "Harpo" because his hair reminded others of Harpo Marx.

Now, the old PBT tried to give its players cool-sounding nicknames, but few of them stuck then and few stick today off-camera.

One of my favorites is Keith McCready's old nickname: "Keither with the ether."

The surest way to forever get a humilitating nickname is to walk into a place and announce your nickname (i.e., what you want it to be)--they'll soon give you one you won't like.

Don't ask me mine. I won't tell.

It's hot out there!

I remeber meeting you when I was at 29 Palms for a school and I also remember how fricken hot is was out there soooooo how 'bout.....

Melissa "Desert Heat" Morris

How about ''miscue'' Morris just kidding

I like something with a little more zip,how about Melissa''mo money''Morris but you might have to dress a little hip hop.Take care scott.

Melissa:

Please don't take this the wrong way, but if you are well endowed you would attract a lot of attention with the nickname Melissa "Double M's" Morris. Guys ( and maybe a lot of gals too) would travel a long way to take a peek and see you play. Of course, you would have to have the personality to take advantage of the marketing, and only you know if you could do it.

Because I can cut a flea off a dirty 8-ball at 8 feet, my real nickname is "Razor". Nobody can cut a ball at the distance and angles as I do with accuracy. So, if my suggested nickname doesn't work for you, take one of your skills and market it as a nickname.

Good luck in your search for a marketable name.

Melissa's Nickname

Melissa, I like M&M also, to put a twist on it, M&M could stand for somethig other than your first and Last name. How about melissa "The Mighty Menace" Morris. I think with a nickname, it should describe your play and your attitude as a player. let me know what you think.

Help!!! I NEED A NICK NAME

NO.. you do NOT need a nickname. For the most part nicknames are stupid. There. That's the way it is. :groucho:

What about not worrying about it? It's not like you are joining a gang.

Nicknames are EARNED

Nicknames come from observers, they're not "made up" in the sense of "I need a nickname" Hell, I thought my name was dips**t until I went to the first grade.

It may come from your attire. We nicknamed a guy "en som" (en sombo) cuz he his shirt/hat/pants and socks always matched. "Red" cuz of his hair. "Fat's" cuz, well you know why. "Limpy" "bumpy" "cuz" "Ditchfrog" (cuz he was ugly as one). "Machine Gun" "Pretty Boy" You get it? It's an observation. Let your friends observe and one will come. be patient.

I "Volmered" 3 times last night and lost the set.
He put a "Wilson Rack" on me.
